15 October World White Cane Day

Every year, October 15 is celebrated as World White Cane Day. This day has been celebrated with a call to give complete rights and dignity to the visually impaired in the society. White bars are a symbol of blindness. It is also regarded as a symbol of equality. One of the objectives of this day is to create awareness so that the visually impaired can travel safely and independently with the good punishment in their hands, so that other people in the society can cooperate with them properly. If a person comes and goes with a white stick in his hand, it should be understood that he is blind; So he should be helped in other fields including crossing the road. Only if people from all walks of life realize that visually impaired people have the ability to act and live like others, then the visually impaired will have full freedom in the society. World Vision Day is celebrated every year on the second Thursday of October with almost the same purpose.
