Army Day
In India, 15 January is celebrated as Army Day every year. On this day in 1948, Lieutenant General K.S. M.S. Chariappa took over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army. On the day of Army Day, tributes were paid to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the safety of our country and the people of the country. The army day program started with a tribute ceremony at the immortal soldier Jyoti at India Gate in New Delhi. Then, the parade and various parades showed the technical skills and success of the Indian Army. Various military medals were also presented on this day.
