Sangeri Tenga, English Name:Water fern, Water sorrel , Scientific Name: Marsilea quatrifolia Linn.

Nature: Growing on droopy water and holding roots per knot, • Soft, growing all-round plants. Sangeri sourdough is found in almost all parts of Assam. Many of its species are found. Some species are eaten. There are several varieties of it and some of these varieties can be eaten as sangeri sour vegetables.
