b) Where is Antarctica?

Answer:- Antarctica is on the South pole.

c) What is a desert?

Answer:- A desert is a large are of land that has very little water and very few plants growing on it.

d) What are the most famous inhabitants of Antarctica?

Answer :- The most famous inhabitants of Antarctica are penguins.

e) What is a precipitation?

Answer:- Precipitation is the amount of the rain snow etc.

f) What is the largest hot desert of the desert of the world?

Answer:- Sahara is the largest hot desert of the desert of the world.

2) Write about the Antarctic Treaty?

Answer:- Antarctica is such a continent that does not have any administrative unit. Various countries have claimed parts of Antarctica but these claims are not always recognised by other countries. Antarctica is protected by the “Antarctic Treaty”.

3) Arrange the order of the following words as you find them in a dictionary.
