Ans: A quiz is a game or competition in which the knowledge of individuals or teams is tested by asking questions.

5. (b) Rules for the Quiz Competition
Ans:
- Each team will consist of two participants.
- All participants must report at least 30 minutes before the competition begins.
- Participants must maintain silence and discipline during the quiz.
- Mobile phones, books and written materials are not allowed.
- Each team will get 10 seconds to answer a question.
- Each correct direct answer will carry 10 marks.
- A correct answer to a passed-over question will carry 5 marks.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The decision of the Quizmaster and judges will be final.
- The team scoring the highest marks will be declared the winner.
