Close your eyes for a moment and visualise a gentle breeze blowing away the leaves of a tree into the air.

3. In the third stanza of the poem, the leaves bid farewell to their longtime friend cricket. They also ask the brook to sing its farewell song. They know that the brook is sad to part with them and it will miss them badly.
