26 January Republic Day

26 January

Republic Day

In India, the day of January 26 is celebrated every year as a public day. On this day in 1950, the Constitution of India was adopted and acted upon. On that day, Bharatak is now declared as a sovereign democratic democracy. It is noteworthy that although India gained independence on August 15, 1947, the country did not have its own constitution till 1950. India’s law system was in place in Tetia under the ‘Government of India Act, 1935’ prepared by the colonial british administration. After independence, on October 28, 1947, the Constitution Drafting Committee was formed with B.R. Ambedkar as its principal. In this society, the draft was tabled in parliament on November 4, 1947. On November 16, 1949, the work of drafting the Constitution of India was completed and after january 26, 1950, it was completed. When the Constitution of India was drafted, there were a handful of 395 articles, 9 schedules and 22 chapters. With various amendments in the next year, it has been well-received. It may be recalled that on January 26, 1930, india’s freedom fighters declared India’s independence unilaterally. Although India did not actually gain independence, the Indian National Congress and other parties continued to observe January 26 as Independence Day in a symbolic way. It was on such a day that an attempt was made to show respect to the sacrifices and struggles of the freedom fighters by implementing the Constitution. Republic Day has been celebrated every year on January 26 since 1950.

Centrally in New Delhi as per republic day tradition The President of India addressed the nation on the occasion.
