Lemon juice/mahanim/neem, English Name: Margosa leaves, Scientilfic Name: Azadirachta indica / Media margosat

Nature: A very bitter-tasting leafy tree. Evergreen, rough trunk, about 20-25 feet tall. Its leaves are used for many purposes and as food.

Properties: Neem leaves are also known as antiseptics. It is especially helpful in the secretion of digestive enzymes. The juice of the leaves relieves itching. Neem leaves are cooked as a vegetable to kill parasites. Neem stems are used to treat various dental diseases. Neem leaves purify the air. People with swine flu should take two tablespoons of neem leaf juice daily after meals. To prevent swine flu, take 10 leaves twice a week or make a sauce of fresh neem leaves with or after meals.
