Dr. Banikant Kakati

Banikant Kakati was born in His father was Lalitam Kakati and his mother was Lahobala Kakati. Banikant’s uncle Ghinuram Kakati was a Kakati appointed by the Ahom kings. In 1947, Dr. Banikant Kakati became the Principal of Cotton College.
